Jammu and Kashmir has two storage economies that barely overlap. The industrial belt around Jammu, Bari Brahmana and Samba runs light manufacturing and distribution. Across the region, horticulture — apples above all — depends on controlled-atmosphere and cold storage, where the racking has to survive conditions that would finish ordinary painted steel.
We manufacture racking at Bahadurgarh and send it north by road. Two quite different specifications apply depending on which side of that split you are on.
Cold, damp air attacks a coated finish at every cut edge and bolt hole. For cold stores we supply galvanised components rather than powder coating alone, because the protection is on the steel rather than over it. Pallet racking at 500 to 2000 kg per beam level is the usual arrangement, laid out for the handling equipment that works in the chamber.
For the Jammu industrial belt, the normal range applies: pallet racking for palletised goods, slotted angle at 50 to 200 kg per level for hand-handled stock, mezzanine floors where the shed has unused height, and compactors for records.
Our racking is bolted rather than welded, so it travels flat and is built up on site. That matters on a long road route and at buildings where a pre-welded frame simply could not be brought in. If there is a restriction on vehicle size reaching Kupwara, tell us before dispatch.

Spanco Storage Systems has manufactured industrial storage systems since 1998 — pallet racking, warehouse racks, shelving, mezzanine floors and compactors — from its own plant at HSIIDC Bahadurgarh.
We hold no depot in Kupwara. Racking is built to order and dispatched from the plant.
