This policy covers https://www.spancostorage.org and explains what we collect when you
contact us, why we hold it, and how to have it removed. It applies to
Spanco Storage Systems, a proprietorship registered at Plot No. 22, Sector-16, HSIIDC, Bahadurgarh, Haryana 124507, GST 06AACPV9583F1Z8.
What we collect, and when
We do not ask for anything until you choose to contact us. There is no
account to create and nothing to sign up for in order to read the site.
When you send an enquiry
The enquiry forms, the pop-up quotation form and the WhatsApp form record:
- your name
- your email address
- your telephone number and its dialling code
- the location you type in
- the message you write
- the page you were on when you submitted
- your IP address and the date and time
The newsletter form records your email address, the page you submitted from,
your IP address and the time.
The last two in each list are recorded automatically. We keep them because
they tell us which page produced an enquiry and help us identify
automated submissions. We do not use them to profile you.
When you simply read the site
Our own server sets one cookie, PHPSESSID. It holds no personal
information, exists only to keep a page working while you move around it,
and is discarded when you close your browser.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange delivery or
installation, and keep a record of what was quoted. That is the whole of it.
We do not sell, rent or trade enquiry details, and we do not send marketing
to people who have not asked for it.
Who else is involved
A few services run on our pages. Each one is listed here because it can see
something about your visit:
- Google Analytics — measures which pages are read and how
people arrive. It sets its own cookies.
- Google reCAPTCHA — on every enquiry form, to separate real
enquiries from automated ones. Google receives the information it needs to
make that judgement.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces the site is set in.
- Google Maps — the map on the contact page is embedded from
Google and loads only on that page.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) — serves the telephone-number field used
on the enquiry forms.
These are Google's and Cloudflare's services and are governed by their own
privacy terms, not ours. Enquiry details you send us are not passed to them.
Your enquiry is also delivered to our own email, and the website is hosted by
our hosting provider, who necessarily stores the database the enquiry sits in.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while the quotation is live and for as long as we may need
to refer to it afterwards — a rack supplied today may need matching parts
years later.
Asking to see it or have it removed
Write to info@spancostorage.com
and ask. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us
to delete it. We will not ask you to justify the request. If you ask us to
delete an enquiry we are in the middle of quoting, we will tell you what that
means for the quotation before acting.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry records are held in the website
database on our hosting provider's servers and are reachable only through the
password-protected administration area. No method of storage or transmission
is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
This is a business-to-business site for industrial storage equipment. It is not
directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
