Uttar Pradesh covers two quite different storage markets. On the NCR side, Noida and Ghaziabad run electronics, packaging and third-party warehousing where throughput and pallet discipline matter. Further out, Kanpur, Agra, Moradabad and Lucknow are older manufacturing towns where the stock is heavier, more varied and often hand-handled.
A rack that suits one rarely suits the other, which is why we start from your load rather than from a standard bay.
Spanco manufactures racking at Bahadurgarh and supplies Uttar Pradesh by road. For Azamgarh, the specification follows the handling method more than the industry.
Distribution centres, electronics assembly and packaging units generally want selective pallet racking: 500 to 2000 kg per beam level, 3000 to 6000 mm high, beams adjustable on 75 mm pitch as the pallet profile changes. Where the pallet mix is consistent, double-deep bays recover aisle space.
Leather, footwear, brassware, hardware and spares move in cartons and bins rather than on pallets. That is slotted angle and shelving territory — 50 to 200 kg per level, 5 to 10.5 ft, levels adjustable on 25 mm slot pitch, and far cheaper per square foot than pallet racking.
A mezzanine floor at 300 to 750 kg per sq m adds a second deck inside the shed you already have. It bolts together and comes apart again, which matters on a leased unit.
Send the floor dimensions, the clear height, the heaviest unit load and a photograph if you have one. A layout is more useful than a rate per bay, because it shows how many positions you actually gain in Azamgarh.

Read MoreIt usually comes down to one thing: is the load arriving on a pallet or in a person's hands? If a forklift or stacker is placing it, you need beams and the aisle width that goes with them. If people are placing it, slotted angle is lighter, cheaper and easier to reconfigure, and you keep the aisle narrow. Many units in Uttar Pradesh end up with both, in different bays of the same shed.
Most enquiries start with one of these. Find the one that sounds like your floor and the system that answers it is named beside it.
Selective pallet racking puts the same pallets on three to five beam levels, so the footprint stays the same and the storage multiplies. Beams adjust on 75 mm pitch as your pallet profile changes.
Pallet rackingA bolted steel mezzanine adds a second deck over the area you already lease, rated 300 to 750 kg per square metre. It dismantles and moves if the lease does.
Mezzanine floorsMobile compactor units run on floor tracks and share one aisle instead of giving every bay its own. The aisles you remove become storage.
Mobile compactorsCantilever racking carries long and awkward stock on open arms with no front column in the way, up to 1000 kg per arm, loaded by forklift from the front.
Cantilever racksDrum and chemical racking holds drums horizontally or upright over spill trays, so a leak is caught at the bay rather than reaching the floor.
Drum & chemical racksFIFO and flow racking loads at one face and picks at the other, so rotation is built into the rack instead of depending on the operator remembering.

We have manufactured storage systems since 1998 and supply warehouse racks, pallet racking systems, industrial shelving, mezzanine floors and mobile compactors nationwide from one plant at HSIIDC Bahadurgarh.
There is no Spanco branch or stockyard in Azamgarh. Racking for Uttar Pradesh is manufactured to order and dispatched from the plant.
Start from the heaviest load one level has to carry and the clear height you have to work with. Ranges below are what we build to; the exact build is sized against your pallet or carton.
| System | Typical load | Height range | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slotted Angle Racks | 50–200 kg per level | 5–10.5 ft | Hand-loaded cartons, spares, files and light stock |
| Pallet Racking Systems | 500–2000 kg per beam level | 3000–6000 mm | Palletised goods handled by forklift or stacker |
| Mezzanine Floors | 300–750 kg/m² | 2000–5000 mm clear | Doubling usable floor area without new construction |
| Mobile Compactor Storage Systems | 300–1000 kg per bay | 2000–2200 mm | Records and archives where aisle space is scarce |
| Cantilever Racks | up to 1000 kg per arm | 15–20 ft | Pipe, tube, bar, timber and sheet |
| Drum and Chemical Storage Racks | 300–800 kg per level | 2–3 levels | Drums and chemicals needing spill containment |
| FIFO and Flow Racks | 200–500 kg per level | 2–4 levels | Stock rotation where oldest must pick first |
Not sure which row you are on? Send the heaviest pallet weight, the clear height and what lifts the goods, and we will tell you which one fits. Ask for a recommendation.
The heaviest load one level must carry, its footprint, your clear height to the lowest obstruction, and what lifts the goods.
Bay capacity is checked against your actual pallet or carton weight before any drawing is issued.
Cut, formed and powder coated at Bahadurgarh from TATA Steel and SAIL coil to IS 513 and IS 10743.
Fitted by our own team. Bolted throughout, so the racking can be reconfigured or relocated later.
The industry matters less than the unit load, which is the first thing we ask about.
Orders for Azamgarh are roll-formed, welded, powder coated and dispatched from our own unit in HSIIDC Bahadurgarh. We deliver and install across Azamgarh and the wider market area, with our own fitting team on site rather than a local sub-contractor. Because every bay is built to your dimensions rather than pulled from stock, a beam length or a shelf pitch can still be changed after you have ordered.

A single lorry covers several of these towns on the same run, so ordering alongside a neighbouring site usually shortens the wait across Uttar Pradesh.
A photograph of the area and a ceiling height is usually enough to start.
