Stainless Industrial Storage Rack Manufacturer in Delhi – Built for Strength, Efficiency & Growth
Modern warehouses and industrial facilities demand storage systems that go beyond basic shelving. They need solutio…
Industrial duty means the rack is part of a working process rather than a storeroom shelf. It gets loaded daily, sometimes by machine and often by whoever is nearest, and it has to stay square for years. That changes what matters: the gauge of the angle or beam, how the connection behaves under repeated loading, and whether the frame can be re-levelled after a knock.
For spares, fasteners, tooling and cartons, slotted angle racking at 50 to 200 kg per level in 1.2 mm to 2.5 mm angle, in bays 750, 900 or 1200 mm wide. Medium duty racks and light duty storage racks sit in the same family, as does the general industrial rack range.
Pallet racking at 500 to 2000 kg per beam level with spans to 3000 mm. Heavy duty pallet racks are the default where a forklift or stacker handles the load.
Cantilever racking at up to 1000 kg per arm, and long span racks for bulky lighter goods.
Drum storage racks with 50 to 100 litre spill trays for chemicals, cold storage racks in galvanised finish, and fabric storage racks for roll goods.
Automotive component plants, pharmaceutical and chemical units, textile and garment manufacturing, food processing and cold chain, electronics assembly, engineering job shops and third-party logistics operators across Delhi NCR. The common thread is not the industry but the unit load, which is why we ask what one level has to carry before anything else.
Drawings are issued once bay loading has been confirmed against your actual pallet or carton weight. Installation is by our own team, and because everything is bolted, a line change later does not mean scrapping the racking. Typical lead time is about two weeks from order confirmation, minimum order 10 pieces or by weight on rate contract.
Spanco has manufactured industrial racking since 1998 from a 5,000 sq m plant at HSIIDC Bahadurgarh, under GST 06AACPV9583F1Z8, using TATA Steel and SAIL coil to IS 513 and IS 10743. We supply end users direct and also serve dealers, wholesalers and stockists on rate contract, with export supply on request. For a comparison across every family we build, see the storage racks overview.
This page covers several racking families. The comparison below is the quickest way to narrow down before you ask for a quotation.
| System | Typical load | Height range | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slotted Angle Racks | 50–200 kg per level | 5–10.5 ft | Hand-loaded cartons, spares, files and light stock |
| Pallet Racking Systems | 500–2000 kg per beam level | 3000–6000 mm | Palletised goods handled by forklift or stacker |
| Mezzanine Floors | 300–750 kg/m² | 2000–5000 mm clear | Doubling usable floor area without new construction |
| Mobile Compactor Storage Systems | 300–1000 kg per bay | 2000–2200 mm | Records and archives where aisle space is scarce |
| Cantilever Racks | up to 1000 kg per arm | 15–20 ft | Pipe, tube, bar, timber and sheet |
| Drum and Chemical Storage Racks | 300–800 kg per level | 2–3 levels | Drums and chemicals needing spill containment |
| FIFO and Flow Racks | 200–500 kg per level | 2–4 levels | Stock rotation where oldest must pick first |
Yes. Industrial Storage Racks are made to order at our Bahadurgarh plant, so bay width, shelf depth and the number of levels are set against your stock rather than a fixed catalogue size. Standard builds run 5 ft to 10.5 ft with 50 kg to 200 kg per level; tell us the heaviest level load and the bay width you want and we will confirm the angle gauge.
Our Industrial Racking Systems are built from 500 kg to 2000 kg per beam level as a uniformly distributed load, with beam spans of 1500 to 3000 mm and frame depths of 600 to 1200 mm. The exact figure depends on the beam section and the span, so send us the heaviest pallet weight and how many pallets sit on one level.

Our Industrial Warehouse Racks are built from 500 kg to 2000 kg per beam level as a uniformly distributed load, with beam spans of 1500 to 3000 mm and frame depths of 600 to 1200 mm. The exact figure depends on the beam section and the span, so send us the heaviest pallet weight and how many pallets sit on one level.
Our standard build carries 50 kg to 200 kg per level as a uniformly distributed load. The figure depends on the angle gauge and the bay width: a 900 mm bay in 2.0 mm angle carries considerably more than a 1200 mm bay in 1.2 mm angle, because the shelf is spanning further. Tell us the bay width you want and the weight you intend to put on one level and we will confirm the gauge.
Start with the heaviest single pallet you will store, not the average. Multiply by the number of pallets that will sit on one beam level, which is usually two or three depending on beam span. That total is the figure the beam pair must carry as a uniformly distributed load. Then check the frame separately: add every level together and that is what the upright and its bracing must carry down to the floor. Our standard range is 500 kg to 2000 kg per beam level.
The deciding factor is what lifts the goods. If a person loads the shelf by hand, slotted angle is the cheaper and more flexible answer. Once a pallet and a forklift are involved, you need pallet racking, because beam sections and the boltless connector are designed for that impact. As a rough line, hand-loaded stock under about 200 kg per level is slotted angle territory.
Selective gives you a clear aisle to every pallet, so any pallet can be picked at any time. Double-deep stores pallets two rows deep, which adds pallet positions in the same floor area but means the front pallet must be moved to reach the one behind, and it needs a double-reach truck. Drive-in lets the truck enter the rack structure itself and gives the highest density, but you lose selectivity entirely, so it suits a small number of SKUs held in quantity. Selective suits most operations; density systems pay off when you have few SKUs and many pallets of each.
Yes. The angle is slotted on a 25 mm pitch, so levels can be repositioned with a spanner. Nothing is welded, so bays can also be extended, shortened or relocated.
FIFO means first in, first out. Flow racking uses a gravity roller track so pallets or cartons loaded at the back present themselves at the pick face in the order they were loaded. It matters where stock has a shelf life or a batch number that must rotate, such as food, pharmaceutical and chemical storage. If your stock does not age, plain selective racking is usually the better value.
As a manufacturer. We roll-form the angle and shelf panels at our own plant at HSIIDC Bahadurgarh from TATA Steel and SAIL coil, powder coat in house, and dispatch direct. We also supply to dealers and stockists on rate contract by weight.
Aisle width is set by the truck, not by the rack. A counterbalance forklift needs a wider aisle than a reach truck, and a reach truck needs more than a very narrow aisle machine. This is why we ask what handles the pallets before laying out the bays: choosing the rack first and the truck afterwards is how warehouses end up with aisles that do not work.
Minimum order is 10 pieces, or by weight on rate-contract supply. Typical lead time is about two weeks from order confirmation, subject to the size of the order and the finish specified.
Beam connectors are supplied with safety pins as standard so a beam cannot be lifted out by a rising fork. Column guards, end-of-aisle barriers, pallet support bars and mesh decking are quoted as options. We recommend guards anywhere a truck turns.

Every rack on this site is made on one line at our own 5000 m² plant in Bahadurgarh. Nothing is bought in and re-badged, which is why we can answer for the steel grade, the coating and the bay loading on the same call.
Cold-rolled and hot-rolled coil from TATA Steel and SAIL arrives at the Bahadurgarh plant and is checked against IS 513 and IS 10743 before anything is cut.
Coil is slit to width and punched on the press. Upright perforation pitch is set here, and it is what decides the beam levels you can later move.
Flat strip is passed through the forming line and comes out as the finished section — upright, beam or panel — with the stiffening bends that carry the load.
Mill scale and rust are stripped off the formed sections so that paint has clean, keyed steel to hold on to. Skipping this is why cheap racking flakes.
Bracing is welded to the uprights and beam end-connectors are fitted. Frames are squared on the jig so bays line up on site rather than being forced true.
Sections are pre-treated and powder coated, then oven cured. The coat is what stands up to forklift rub, humidity and cold-store condensation.
Uprights, beams and accessories are bundled by bay and labelled, so the right parts reach the right run and nothing is counted twice on site.
Dispatch runs approximately 2 weeks from order confirmation. Our own team installs and hands over; everything is bolted, so a run can be re-pitched or relocated later.
